This article is being written as a pre-emptive strike against all of the Obama sheep out there. We are one of the sites suggesting that Allen West be selected Vice-President. (only because he elected not to run on his own). We also endorsed Herman Cain when he was still in the running. So no, we are not judging the President or any other candidate on the color of their skin. We are however judging them on their decisions. President Obama has led from behind at every opportunity, failed to keep any of his campaign promises. (Remember the most transparent administration in history?) That has nothing to do with the color of his skin but more to his lack of character.

We can go even further with his lack of a grasp on the economy. On June 11th the President declared that the private sector was “doing fine”, only to have to try to walk that back later.

All of the issues in the mid-east, Syria, Iran, not to mention attacking Libya WITHOUT Congressional approval. The uprising in Egypt, the turning of his back on our only major ally in the region Israel.

I guess a better question to ask yourself is “Name one positive thing that this president has done?” Can you name anything? For his first 2 years his party held the Oval, Congress and the Senate, yet the only notable legislation they were able to pass was the “Affordable Health Care Act.” (Which should get overturned by the Supreme Court soon,) Now name something. Under this president he has increased our national debt, more people are unemployed or under-employed. His administration has a strangle hold on the coal industry, the oil industry and the manufacturing industry.

America is a great and resilient country. Americans have overcome, and persevered before and I am sure that we will do it again. How? They same way Americans always have, with a steel resolve that no other country can understand. We will get through this mess that we are in and make this country the shining beacon of freedom she once was.

I am not an economist, but I like to think I have common sense. Instead of trying to figure out how to spend our way out of our problems, why not allow Americans do what they do best. The longest journey starts with a single step. First thing we do is allow business to thrive. Remove the power and treat of the EPA. Let’s face it, the only thing the EPA succeeds in, is putting people out of work and closing businesses. The EPA is responsible for manufacturing jobs to leave this country, by fining them into submission. Finding ANYTHING with a Made in the USA tag is a thing of the past. But yet these goods are still being made. How is that possible? The companies have removed all the manufacturing out of the jurisdiction of the EPA. The same exhaust is still being blown into the air at a higher concentration and rate that it ever was in the US. So the bottom line is, the only thing the EPA has succeeded in getting rid of is jobs. Their next target will be the coal industry. For those of you that don’t remember, here is the President’s quote in his own words. ““So if somebody wants to build a coal-powered plant, they can. It’s just that it will bankrupt them because they’re going to be charged a huge sum for all that greenhouse gas that’s being emitted.” How can anyone from West Virginia have voted for him as generations of families there has made their livelihood mining coal.

I know I got a little off topic.

Are we Racist?  No.
Are we stupid? Hell NO!

Many people out there voted for this president to prove they weren’t racist. Now vote against him to prove you aren’t stupid

Saturday Night Live spoofs President Obama

Look, if you had, one shot, or one opportunity
To seize everything you ever wanted – one moment
Would you capture it? Or just let it slip?  – Eminem

This is where our country is at now. We only have one shot to get this right. The current administration has pushed the boundaries of where we need to be in order to be economically healthy again. I am sorry Mr. President, I might be a fairly simple person, and only have one question for you and your administration. How does one spend himself/herself out of debt? If this is possible I think that everyday people should be doing it too. But it can’t be done. Spending your way out of debt is the same as screwing your way out of prostitution. Just doesn’t work.

So where does that leave us? Well the first thing we need to do is stop playing the blame game. The Obama administration is so quick to blame Bush. The reality is, the Bush administration should shoulder some of the blame. However we are 2 1/2 years in and the messiah has yet to achieve any of the promises from the election. Let’s take a quick look at the broken promises.

Transparency: The then candidate Obama said “Going forward, anytime the American people want to know something that I or a former president wants to withhold, we will have to consult with the Attorney General and the white house counsel, whose business it is to ensure compliance with the rule of law. Information will not be withheld just because I say so; it will be withheld because a separate authority believes my request is well-grounded in the Constitution. Let me say it as simply as I can: transparency and the rule of law will be the touchstones of this presidency,
The sentiment is great, never happened in the last 2 1/2 years, but great sentiment. Remember during the Healthcare debates, Nancy Pelosi famously said “But we have to pass the bill so you can find out what is in it, away from the fog of the controversy.”
Now that is transparency!

There are too many promises that have broken to break down here. So I am just going to list them.

Increase the capital gains and dividends taxes for higher-income taxpayers

Expand the child and dependent care credit

Create a foreclosure prevention fund for homeowners

End income tax for seniors making less than $50,000

End no-bid contracts above $25,000

Phase out exemptions and deductions for higher earners

Forbid companies in bankruptcy from giving executives bonuses

Allow imported prescription drugs

Mandate insurance coverage of autism treatment

Appoint federal-level coordinator to oversee all federal autism efforts

Form international group to help Iraq refugees

Close the Guantanamo Bay Detention Center

And this is just to name a few. Is this what you want from the President of the United States? To take a page from the Presidents playbook, never let a good crisis go to waste.

Please let us know your thoughts in the comments.

Prior to the 2008 election, the only positive platform that then Senator Obama could run on was the fact that he was not President Bush. While the country was looking for a change, they refused to listen to what he was saying. When he told “Joe the plumber” that he wanted to redistribute the wealth, no one paid attention, and said “he ain’t McCain”. and so we are saddled with what we have today. Let’s just go over a few of Barry’s shortfalls.

First and foremost, he NEVER served in the military. But yet he is the Commander In Chief. This happened when Clinton was President, and everyone knows he is a draft dodger. The difference is Slick Willy wasn’t involved in a war much less two wars. He proved that he had no stomach for it in Somalia. Especially when engaged in war, the President should have some military experience, not necessarily have gone to war, but at least had the guts to enlist.

Secondly, the President was not a business man. He has no idea how the “real world” works. When you try to punish a company or an entire industry (see oil companies) the only group this ever hurts is the consumers. We are at the point with our economy that that the President wants to demonstrate how evil the oil companies are, that he wants to over tax them while not allowing any new oil drilling anywhere in the US. I am not even talking about the Gulf of Mexico, or Anwar, how about Oklahoma, Texas or Louisiana. But yet he is ready to pay Brazil to supply us with yet more dependance on foreign oil.

Remember this, “Every path leads to oil”. What does that mean? Most of the problems this country has right now can be addressed by becoming self sufficient when it comes to oil. Think about it… If the price of oil drops, the price of gas drops, it then costs less to harvest and ship food. Oil is the lynchpin to most of the problems with the economy. Raising the taxes on the oil industry does NOTHING to them. If the President had ANY business experience he would be aware that the oil industry doesn’t pay taxes, it only collects taxes. If the President adds a 5% tax, do you think the oil company really pays that tax? No way, your price for gas at the pump just went up 5%.

While we are at it…Why do Democrats and the President try to vilify anyone that makes money? The most common mantra of the left is “Tax the rich” “Get more money from the rich” and my favorite “pay their fair share”. There is no “rich” person who currently doesn’t pay his fair share, plus the fair share of quite a few hundred people. These are the people that create jobs. (The private sector jobs, that the president likes to brag about) The government can’t create public sector jobs, the only thing the government can do is hamper private sector jobs by imposing ridiculous taxes and health care mandates on the people that can help grow the economy.

My only hope is that the American people realize thet they were taken, and rectify this in the 2012 elections. That is change I can beleive in.

What do you think? Post in the comments.
